Bella Store Luxury cakes does not pre-compute your shipping charges. Every item has differing weights and dimensions requiring different sized boxes. To accurately calculate the true shipping cost, we must first pick and pack your order. We then weigh and measure your shipment (some are charged by weight, others by dimension), and get a real price generated by the carrier. We ship your order in the least expensive fashion (for instance, an order over 200 lbs. qualifies for lower “hundredweight” costing). You pay ONLY the true shipping cost.
Other companies will pre-set shipping cost according to some percentage (say, 15% of your order). This is more than enough to offset any potential shipping charge they may find. It almost always leads to overcharging you. We believe you should only pay for the service you receive appreciate your trust, as we hope you will continue to buy from us. Thanks for your support of a policy designed with you in mind!
Please note that some stock-outs are possible on any order you may place. We do not call to alert customers to stock-outs and ask that you check with our Customer Service Representatives to make sure any time sensitive items you need are available at this time. Most orders ship out within 2 days to 3 weeks. Every item in the shop is custom made for each order, and none are shipped until they are completely dry and safe to ship.
Please keep in mind, that since every item is custom made to order, that orders may not be "identical." Most items will look exactly like the posted photos, however since each item is made by hand, there may be minor variations.
During wedding season (April-October), it is highly recommended that orders are placed as soon as possible, as the bakery is also highly booked with local weddings. Also, during the humid hot months gumpaste and fondant items take a little longer to dry sufficiently for them to be safe to ship. Both factors will effect shipping time, which could make some listings take the full shipping time to ship.
When you receive your package, all fondant items are extremely fragile.
Every item is wrapped. Please make sure that when you go to open your item, or items, you do so very carefully, and are mindful of put pulling apart the wrappings, ripping it with force, etc.
